Live: One
It was so exciting to do the first of four Momentum: live performances tonight. There are three more and there's more information here if you'd like to come along.
I spent today finding interesting sounds around Brunswick and recording and photographing things. In the mix are some friends' pets (birds and cats) being fed and being chirpy, a toy glockenspiel, wheelie bins, traffic, kids playing footy, door knobs, knockers and letter slots, plus a metronome and a few other miscellaneous things i found in my studio.
Then tonight I performed live using these sounds and messing/manipulating them along the way. The next three days will follow a similar format of recording and performing, though I may keep some of the sounds for a couple of nights, but each performance will be completely different.
