Day One Hundred and Eighty Four
On the same trip to Santa Cruz in 2009 that I bought the little apple chimes from yesterday, I also got this great music box. It comes with several long strips of manuscript paper and a hole punch, to make your own melodies. I only performed with it once, a few years ago, and I fed the paper in forwards, backwards, upside down and backwards/upside down with a loop pedal to make four part harmony. I used the backwards melody today, plus a slowed down and pitched down version of the chord that sounds when you first feed in the paper.
