I picked up this FAB distortion pedal at the Music Swop Shop yesterday, and so far it's living up to its name. I tried it, fairly gingerly, with the kalimba today, and I like the results. There are more built in effects in Abelton (the software I use to loop and record) than I could ever desire, but sometimes it's nice to have an actual pedal with real knobs to play with...
