Chapala: Twelve

There's so much sound here all the time, human made and otherwise. As my efforts to 'just' record birds the other day were so unsuccessful I'm deciding to bring the background noise to the foreground. Walking along the waterfront all the various restaurants have their own music blaring, resulting in a cacophony of Mexican (I think) pop music melting into one.


Part Twelve: Hydrophone recordings with ring modulator and electric distortion. Different (simultaneous) stereos outside the fish restaurants along the banks of Lake Chapala.
