Momentum: Chapala
I spent December 2018 - January 2019 in the little lakeside town of Chapala, Mexico, at the 360 Xochi Quetzal artist residency. I made recordings each day which can be accessed in the posts on this site and on SoundCloud . The new and exciting part of this particular Momentum project is the addition of underwater recordings, made in various parts of the lake using a pair of hydrophones (underwater microphones). The 28 daily recordings will be remixed into one sound art work which will be available on bandcamp shortly, and will be exhibited in Melbourne later in 2019.
