Chapala: Four

One reason I was really excited about coming to Mexico was the colours - both visual and auditory: the brightly coloured buildings, and the huge variety of sounds happening almost 24/7. In amongst the sounds of people and animals and recorded and live music, are a lot of alarms and sirens. I recorded a couple of different sirens that caught my attention because of the rhythmic changes over time.


Part Four: Radio through a car mounted loudspeaker (with digital delay) - reversed fire engine siren, two different pitched down and stretched out alarms.
