Day One!
I'm excited to have finally started this project after thinking about it for so long... The very first part of this year-long composition begins with toy sleigh bells, looped and pitched down one octave. I also use two small gongs and a beautiful hand-made shaker I picked up in the US on a recent tour. The shaker was made by Chad Scott for Drumzguruven, and was the inspiration for this fairly meditative beginning...
